LEARNING OUTCOMES

🔵 🔴 🟡 Course Description

Through an indicative review of key points of the global physical theater of the 20th century, by Arianne Mnuchkine, Jacques Lecoq, Samuel Beckett, Pina Bausch, a mapping of a part of what is understood as physical theater will be made. On the other hand, the practical part of the teachings will focus on training the performers in the method of acting with a mask starting in the laboratory from the neutral mask, the elements of nature, rhythmology, basic motor principles (walking, standing, sitting, gesture, running, pushing, falling, getting up), and continuing on to the character masks as well as an introduction to the elements of nature. The training of the performers in this physically demanding laboratory course is going to benefit the people who participate mainly in relation to the presence on stage (either physical or digital), the awareness of physical capabilities and expressive range, useful tools for their individual creations.
